Chris is definitely not your typical politician, but he could be the climate champion we need in Sacramento. He’s a former NFL player, coach, and writer, as well as a longtime community advocate. He grew up in Seal Beach in a family with both Republicans and Democrats, which taught him early on how to work with people who don’t always agree.
Chris won’t be afraid to cross the aisle to get things done, and he counts climate legislation among his top priorities. He plans to push for more green energy adoption and production, heavier investment into robust public transit in order to cut down car fossil fuel use, and greener, more walkable cities. He also wants California to invest more into battery and energy storage technology, and modernize our power grid to take advantage of California’s solar-friendly climate.
Climate Action California believes that Chris’ pragmatic approach to solving the climate crisis will help bridge the gap between advocates and skeptics in Sacramento. We are pleased to endorse Chris for the State Assembly.
