Rhodesia Ransom has served her community in Tracy as a member of the City Council since 2016, a member of the City Planning commision for 6 years before that, and as a non-profit community foundation founder and leader. She also worked as the District Director for U.S. Congressman Josh Harder for the last three years.
Rhodesia’s work on the Tracy City Council has included supporting green transportation, fighting for clean air, clean drinking water, and better infrastructure, and paving the way for wildfire prevention. Her focus on public health and air quality, in a district with the state’s worst air quality and highest childhood asthma rates, highlights the benefits that will come with the transition to clean energy and clean transportation. Climate Action California looks forward to Rhodesia championing efforts in these areas as a member of the California State Assembly.
