Jed Leano works as an immigration attorney in Pasadena. He is a former Mayor of Claremont and has been a member of its City Council since 2018. Jed was elected to the Claremont City Council on a platform of sustainable city development and investment in renewable energy.
Jed’s conviction is that issues such as the housing crisis, traffic congestion, and the climate crisis are all symptoms of the same predicament, and need to be tackled together.
In his role as a Councilman and a Mayor, he championed CHERP Solar Works (cherpsolar.org), electric bike rebate program and 100% clean energy for Claremont. He has signed the No Fossil Fuel pledge.
