Sade is a candidate in this race because her community is on the frontline of injustice and is disproportionately impacted by the lack of investment and access to jobs, food, green space, clean energy, health care, housing, and education.
As a state assemblymember, Sade will seek to pass legislation that will decrease reliance on single-occupancy vehicles, improve public transit, ensure green jobs are going to Californians, build affordable housing near job centers and along transit corridors, and expand access to wind, solar, and other forms of clean energy.
We are impressed with Sade’s passion for environmental justice and her skills as a community organizer and believe that she will be an excellent addition to the 2024 legislative cohort.
