Born and raised in San Diego’s East County, Colin Parent has a proven track record of leveraging his expertise in land use and transportation issues to drive material impact on climate policy.
As a state assemblymember, Parent hopes to tackle some of the core emissions challenges faced by the residents of East County San Diego through a broad range of equitable policies including addressing affordable housing, improving existing public transportation solutions and creating more, pedestrian and bike-friendly routes.
