Sean Frame is a filmmaker, union activist and self-described “Climate Hawk” who now serves as the Chief Job Steward at CSEA 480 (Sacramento Education Office Chapter 480.) He also served 9 years (2011-2020) as a School Board Trustee for the Placerville Union School District.
Sean knows the dangers of climate change firsthand: he was forced to relocate his family from their home due to the increasing fire risk and soaring cost of fire insurance. He also believes that the affordability and climate crises are inseparable: you simply can’t talk about one without talking about the other.
To that end, Sean wants to see language in the Legislative Analyst’s Report that specifically addresses how much climate has impacted affordability in just the past 4 years. He is a staunch supporter of Make Polluters Pay, and has spent years pushing his union to divest from fossil fuels.
Climate Action California believes that Sean Frame will be an excellent addition to the legislature, and someone who will prioritize people over polluters. We gladly endorse him for election to the California Senate.
